Stress is known to activate short-term=20 thinking, which prevents the solution to the many difficulties=20 facing humanity. Attempts to create positive social change under=20 stress are more likely to spread it. Stress is contagious,=20 spreading from person to person.=20=20 The resolution of stress holds the promise of a shift to long-term=20 thinking and a sustainable society. Of course, people may want to=20 know what signs indicate a reduction of stress is occurring and what=20 signs indicate its persistence.=20=20=20 The awareness of stress itself and a felt need to reduce it is=20 crucial. Often, however, the condition of stress becomes habituated=20 and is not apparent. Stress is often diagnosed as a physical or=20 mental condition under a different label. Some other symptoms of=20 stress may be the feeling of separateness or lack of self- fulfillment. It also may be fair to say that a "workaholic" is an=20 individual who is driven by stress. Thus, some people may need to=20 look more deeply into themselves to get in touch with the actuality=20 of stress.=20=20=20 A sign that stress is reducible may begin with the discovery of some=20 consistent means of relaxation appropriate to the individual.=20=20=20 There are many forms of meditation, exercise, and visualization=20 regimes waiting to be discovered. The sage Ramana Maharshi=20 suggested self-inquiry through the repeated question, "who am I," as=20 a means of transcending the stress which limits the full sense of=20 self.=20 "Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi was probably the most famous Indian=20 sage of the twentieth century. He was renowned for his saintly life,=20 for the fullness of his self-realization, and for the feelings of=20 deep peace that visitors experienced in his presence."=20 Realization.org: Ramana Maharshi (picture included)=20 A significant sign of stress reduction can be experienced in face-to- face communication that occurs with mutual understanding and=20 equanimity. Such communication can also be contagious as it spreads=20 from person to person.=20 Ed, in Florida From Sven04@comhem.se Tue Oct 02 10:27:21 2007 Return-Path: X-Sender: Sven04@comhem.se X-Apparently-To: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com Received: (qmail 98128 invoked from network); 2 Oct 2007 17:27:19 -0000 Received: from unknown (69.147.108.202) by m43.grp.scd.yahoo.com with QMQP; 2 Oct 2007 17:27:19 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO ch-smtp02.sth.basefarm.net) (80.76.149.213) by mta3.grp.re1.yahoo.com with SMTP; 2 Oct 2007 17:27:14 -0000 Received: from c83-253-206-120.bredband.comhem.se ([83.253.206.120]:1201 helo=sveinn-fp1krz97.comhem.se) by ch-smtp02.sth.basefarm.net with esmtpsa (TLSv1:AES256-SHA:256) (Exim 4.66) (envelope-from ) id 1IclWZ-0000Fl-7J for theos-talk@yahoogroups.com; Tue, 02 Oct 2007 19:27:13 +0200 X-Mailer: QUALCOMM Windows Eudora Version 7.1.0.9 Date: Tue, 02 Oct 2007 19:28:08 +0200 To: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Message-Id: X-Authenticated: u13406688@ch-smtp02.sth.basefarm.net 22c0eb50b2f81d8af11213b2054a3ec9 X-Scan-Result: No virus found in message 1IclWZ-0000Fl-7J. The condition is intolerable and reprehensible and an offense against humanity. But the reality is that both Russia and China being permanent members of the UN Security Council have direct complicity that has allowed this state to exist untouched in it's tyranny for 4 decades. Russia sells advanced Armaments to Myanmar and has refused in the past to allow sanctions, the same for China who is an active partner in Energy exploitation of that country, both have regularly used their Veto power to negate progress if it effects their own desired ambitions of power in that Nation. China today made the comments that it is too early to make any decision in regard to any UN action. Being a realist I personally do not have a lot of confidence in sudden change there. BuI I was once inside Mt. Kailas and saw the huge interior Temple in there. My opinion is that the term "Shamballa" is a recent word that became the affinitized label fro the Interior world of the Great White Brotherhood that at best cannot be earlier than the Buddhist arrival to Tibet. The Bonpo who are adamant they have a lineage back to 18,000 BCE do not use the term instead they use Ol Mo Rung Ling if I haven't transposed the last two words. They have a very descriptive citation of the physical organization of it's districts and realms and rings and the directional divisions. It is the most complete I have seen. There are alleged to be with held maps by both the Tashi and Dalai Lama's. The Bonpo are now in the present time supported by the Dalai Lama Gelugpa and were helped by him to save and preserve their legacy of possessions and to get them out of Tibet. I think Blavatsky knew what they had and directed people away as a blind in this case. The recent discovery of the "Silver Palace of Guruda" and it's pre-Buddhist implications interests me. Just my personal opinion. John ------------- Original message -------------- From: Cass Silva Hey John, Have you by chance visited the centre of the earth? Non-locality is the attribute which > has the > capability of instantaneous connection. The ZPE is considered by > some as a > single entity. A single entity which is non-local, fuels all > matter, and > connects everything as a whole...so what would you call it? Well, since you describe this ZPE as being *omnipresent* ("non- local") and *omnipotent* ("fuels all matter, and connects everything as a whole") -- we might just call it the "Singularity" of Einstein's General Relativity, or the "G-Force of fundamental or primal SPACE underlying our space-time continuum and everything in it"... But, if we add consciousness (awareness, will, discernment, discrimination, determination, etc.) or *omniscience* to those attributes -- we could call it "God". Of course, this would force us to consider; (1) That consciousness, or pure subjectivity, is the inherent quality of that dimensionless and timeless absolute Primal SPACE eternally existing prior to the Big Bang -- as the absolute static zero-point center of the abstract motion of the primal G-force, i.e., infinite angular [SPIN] momentum... That is the fundamental power source of the ZPE located everywhere in the Planck vacuum throughout the entire cosmos... (2); That potential physical (i.e., empirical) *matter-energy* fields. e.g., particles, atoms, molecules, etc., are empowered by all the coenergetic fields of G-force (ZPE) in the Planck vacuum between and within the individual particles and the absolute zero-point (empty) Primal SPACE. Incidentally, these fields, postulated in my ABC model as fractally involved, like bubbles within bubbles within bubbles, etc., could be the 7 hyperspace dimensions postulated by 11 dimension superstring/M-brane theory -- that are enfolded in the sub quantum Planck space, and also permeating and surrounding all physical forms up to the Cosmos itself. Also, the surface of these fields composed of spiraling positive and negative lines, rays or superstrings of G-force could be the "branes". See: ... (3) That, since, each such zero-point center of ZPE would also be the center (located everywhere) of the entire, apparently spherical Cosmos, we could assume everything in the universe is fundamentally holographic in nature... And that, between each particle and the zero- point there must be a series of ascending frequency-energy orders or phases of coenergetic (electromagnetically resonant), radiant hyperspace fields, comprising the ZPE, that would carry the information of Cosmic consciousness, including all the constructive knowledge or blueprints of everything in the Cosmos -- as holographic wave interference patterns on their field surfaces. Initially, prior to the Big Bang, this "information" could be the memory of the previous cyclic manifestation of the entire Cosmos, including all its individual galaxies, star systems, etc. -- with, apparently, all substantial forms of matter down through sentient beings, following analogous cyclic processes of periodic birth, growth, and death... All such cycles being based on the ubiquitous fundamental or original spin empowering the associated ZPE, etc. If we carry this model forward to Human consciousness, these ZPE fields could be the non-local electrodynamic media of storage and transference of the holographically encoded wave interference patterns, comprising the "information of consciousness" (awareness, will, intent, etc.), both efferent and afferent, between mind, memory, brain transduction & processing system, neuromuscular system, sensory inputs, etc. -- all of which forms, down to the smallest cell, particle, micro-particle, etc., would have analogous descending orders of coenergetic fields surrounding their zero-points of origination carrying their structural information -- analogous to the stored DNA information in every cell of the entire body. So, I think there is no question that non Locality, infinite spin, holographic paradigm, zero-point entanglement, permanence of consciousness, etc., could be among the essential aspects of overall nature that enable the phenomenal expressions of individual consciousness (perception, will, qualia, discernment, discrimination, decision, etc.) and also can explain almost all of the repeatedly reported or observed psi phenomena, such as ASC, OBE, NDE, precognition, etc. Hopefully, science will be able to eventually prove all this in the not too distant future. And, if not too late, such universal knowledge, if accepted, might radically change the motivations of most people -- whose selfishness, based on the belief in the separateness and impermanence of consciousness, is probably the root cause of most of the world's problems -- especially during these difficult and uncertain times in the affairs of mankind -- that seems to be leading it towards a catastrophic collapse of one kind or another. I wouldn't hold my breath, though -- considering the way most people, including scientists, hang onto their conditioned beliefs and preconceptions. ;-) Best wishes, Leon Maurer [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] From nenqueteba2000@yahoo.com.ar Sun Oct 07 17:09:30 2007 Return-Path: Received: (qmail 98417 invoked from network); 8 Oct 2007 00:09:28 -0000 Received: from unknown (69.147.108.201) by m53.grp.scd.yahoo.com with QMQP; 8 Oct 2007 00:09:28 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO n13a.bullet.sp1.yahoo.com) (69.147.64.112) by mta2.grp.re1.yahoo.com with SMTP; 8 Oct 2007 00:09:28 -0000 Received: from [216.252.122.217] by n13.bullet.sp1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 08 Oct 2007 00:09:14 -0000 Received: from [66.218.69.4] by t2.bullet.sp1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 08 Oct 2007 00:09:14 -0000 Received: from [66.218.66.73] by t4.bullet.scd.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 08 Oct 2007 00:09:14 -0000 X-Sender: nenqueteba2000@yahoo.com.ar X-Apparently-To: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com Received: (qmail 16719 invoked from network); 7 Oct 2007 21:14:22 -0000 Received: from unknown (69.147.108.202) by m48.grp.scd.yahoo.com with QMQP; 7 Oct 2007 21:14:22 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO web32914.mail.mud.yahoo.com) (209.191.69.114) by mta3.grp.re1.yahoo.com with SMTP; 7 Oct 2007 21:14:22 -0000 Received: (qmail 71287 invoked by uid 60001); 7 Oct 2007 21:14:22 -0000 X-YMail-OSG: qPn6kXwVM1nWv42YCrVX2sogS9WrRGcMkGCvccKGPCqgRehQLjWelK.BKvcLl4xD6FWS8nqWEL4.oyrUpSNQlmutAABVbFvXH9SS4vL47xkA_5qe9OBtpJ1b6X_FDQ-- Received: from [190.28.81.34] by web32914.mail.mud.yahoo.com via HTTP; Sun, 07 Oct 2007 14:14:21 PDT X-Mailer: YahooMailRC/651.50 YahooMailWebService/0.7.134.6 Date: Sun, 7 Oct 2007 14:14:21 -0700 (PDT) To: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-ID: <182365.71204.qm@web32914.mail.mud.yahoo.com> X-Originating-IP: 209.191.69.114 X-eGroups-Msg-Info: 1:12:0:0:0 From: Noel vasco Subject: =?iso-8859-7?B?UmU6IFRoZW9zLVdvcmxkIEdvbmUgZnJvbSBtZW6icyBzaWdodCAt?= X-Yahoo-Group-Post: member; u=208108019; y=_T6ZL2kdK9rdRmffOWw4atkJ_o0slqJs3fsvyqvK0HDJvrL_5B5nv84 X-Yahoo-Profile: nenqueteba2000 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable X-Yahoo-Newman-Property: groups-system X-eGroups-Approved-By: eldon_tucker via web; 08 Oct 2007 00:09:12 -0000 X-Yahoo-Message-Num: 42022 Henry More.... ----- Mensaje original ---- De: Sveinn Freyr Para: theos-talk@yahoogroups.com Enviado: domingo 7 de octubre de 2007, 19:00:08 Asunto: Theos-World Gone from men=92s sight - List members - Who is the "English philosopher" ? ~ S. Incidentally, it follows that at certain times of the month astral communication with the moon is possible, and at certain other times it is not. The mental plane of our earth bears about the same proportion to the astral as the latter does to the physical. It also is a huge globe, concentric with the other two, interpenetrating them both, but extending much further from the centre than does the astral globe. It will be seen that the effect of this is that, while matter of all the planes exists together down here, there is a certain amount of truth in the illustration of the shelves, for beyond the limit of the physical atmosphere there is a considerable shell which consists only of astral and mental matter, and outside of that again another similar shell which consists of mental matter only. When we reach the buddhic plane the extension becomes so great that what we might call the buddhic bodies of the different planets of our chain meet one another, and so there is but one buddhic body for the whole chain, which means that in the buddhic vehicle it is possible to pass from one of these planets to another. I presume that when investigations in a similar way are extended to the nirvanic plane it will be found that that matter extends so much further that other chains are included in it as well-- perhaps the entire solar system." We need waste little time over those who deny it; nature itself will refute their heresy. More subtly dangerous are those who misunderstand it, and their name is legion. Remember not only what brotherhood means, but also what it does not mean. It emphatically does not mean equality, for twins and triplets are comparatively rare; under all but the most abnormal circumstances, brotherhood implies a difference in age, and consequently all sorts of other differences, in strength, in cleverness, in capacity. Brotherhood implies community of interest, but not community of interests. If the family be rich all its members profit thereby; if the family be poor, all its members suffer accordingly. So there is a community of interest. But the individual interests of the brothers not only may be, but also for many years must be, absolutely different. What interests has the boy of fourteen in common with his brother of six? Each lives his own life among friends of his own age, and has far more in common with them than with his brother. What cares the elder brother of twenty-five, fighting his way in the world, for all the prizes and anxieties of school-life which fill the horizon of that second brother? It is not to be expected, then, that because they are brothers men shall feel alike or be interested in the same things. It would not be desirable, even if it were possible, for their duties differ according to their ages, and the one thing which most promotes the evolution of the human family as a whole is that every man should strive earnestly to do his duty in that state of life to which it shall please God to call him, as the Church catechism puts it. This does not in the least imply that every man must always remain in the station in which his karma has placed him at birth; if he can honestly and harmlessly make such further karma as will raise him out of it he is at perfect liberty to do so. But at whatever stage he may be, he should do the duties of that stage. The child grows steadily; but while he is at a certain age, his duties are those appropriate to that age, and not those of some older brother. Each age has its duties-- the younger to learn and to serve, and the older to direct and protect; but all alike to be loving and helpful, all alike to try to realize the idea of the great family of humanity. Each will best help his brothers, not by interfering with them, but by trying earnestly to do his own duty as a member of this family. We have information from Irineu himself (one of the 'founders' of the chatolic church) that jesus lived almost till 50. If he started to teach when he was 30 - following the rule of the essenes - he couldn't possibly have reached all those people and become wordly known in only three years. information would take weeks to get to people, they didn't have the internet. --- In theos-talk@yahoogroups.com, Todd Lorentz wrote: > >=20 > Hi Nancy, >=20 > At 07:16 AM 17/10/2000 -0500, you wrote: > >Where can one find information concerning=20 > >Appolonius of Tyanna ? Please check his web page and read his last e-newsletter down below if you feel like. With Best Wishes, PJ 8th October 2007 In September I addressed 100 senior executives from Nokia at a castle in Austria. For several years they have been thinking of their organization as a morphic field, apparently with helpful and profitable consequences. They were also interested by my research on telephone and text message telepathy, and we discussed ways in which telepathy test could be built into the software for their mobile phones. I recently analyzed the results of the Joint Attention Test (located on my web site, sheldrrke.org, at the Online Experiments Portal). This test involves two people and takes only four minutes. Over 200 people have taken part so far and the results are showing a positive, statistically significant effect. In this test, in a series of 20 trials, both participants are shown one of two different photographs (a different pair for each trial). By chance they may either see the same picture as their partners, or a different picture, and both have to guess whether their partner has seen the same picture of not. It's easy to do, and I am keen to see if the pattern of results so far proves repeatable. Please have a go! This test makes a good homework assignment at schools and colleges, so if you teach or know someone who does, please suggest that they ask their students to try this. NEW! A precognition prize! 100 pounds for the first person to get 6/6 in the precognitive text message test, located in the Online Experiments Portal. People can try the test as often as they like. F. ------------ Chapter "Isis Unveiled" I corrected every page of her manuscript several times, and every page of the proofs; wrote many paragraphs for her, often merely embodying her ideas that she could not then frame to her liking in English; helped her to find out quotations, and did other purely auxiliary work: ... Then, whence did H. P. B. draw the materials which compose Isis, and which cannot be traced to accessible literary sources of quotation? From the Astral Light, and by her soul - senses, from her Teachers -- the "Brothers," "Adepts," "Sages," "Masters," as they have been variously called. How do I know it? By working two years with her on Isis and many more years on other literary work. To watch her at work was a rare and never - to - be - forgotten experience. We sat at opposite sides of one big table usually, and I could see her every movement. Her pen would be flying over the page, when she would suddenly stop, look out into space with the vacant eye of the clairvoyant seer, shorten her vision as though to look at something held invisible in the air before her, and begin copying on her paper what she saw.
