The Secret Doctrine - where is the real original version?

A few words for consideration and a question or two...
I am reading the Secret Doctrine by H. P. Blavatsky from time to time...
I came across the fact that some of the Hebrew signs has been changed both in the Pasadena versions and the later 1893 versions and versions later than the original from the year 1888 given here....
Try the below link for the original 1888 edition on page 129 and then go and compare the Hebrew words with present day ULT versions and any other versions on sale...
Can anyone explain the differences in the use of Punctuations. Blavatsky was obviously following another script than the more well-known ones...Or is the old 1888 versions just worn out a bit...???
Secret Doctrine Volume II, p. 129 - by United Lodge of Theosophists (ULT)
The Pasadena version seem however to be all right on Page 129
Yet I have a Pasadena version of the Secret Doctrine from the year 1963 - and it has a different printing of the hebrew than the above online version has (! !) Why did these differences occur?
Why not keep to the original version?
And since the above example is not the only place where such changes occur, I find it to be all right to ask these questions.
Those of you who are in possession og 1888 versions - the original ones might be able to tell whether the online version --- http://blavatskyarchives.com/theosophypdfs/blavatsky_the_secret_doctrine_vol_2_1888.pdf
--- is not showÃng its age on page 129 - and parts of the Hebrew punctuations or marks seem to be gone or "smudged".
I just ask - seeking to be of service...
from a human being who do care...
