Hmm, when i read this i found myself in a slightly different view so i looked up a few things:
Tantra = Rite or Ritual, Teaching - In the form of a dialog between Siva' and (his divine feminine energy ) Sakti' and is simply the symbilic or personalization of a Divinity, it's energies, qualities, and powers. page 75 Sanscrit keys to the Wisdom Religion by Judith Tyberg , 1940.
Panchatantra panch=5 tantra=books == The Five Books, written for the training of young princes in descreet behavior. Book of Good Counsel--- a collection of animal tales giving good advice to princes (hita upadesa (good Advice). Aesop derived many of his fables from this work.
Other collections are; Vetalapancha-vimsati, Five Rites or Rituals - A Demons 25 Stories by Somadeva.
In Madame blavatskys works is found a infrastructure based upon Panca or 5 like the 5 Buddha Familys, the 5 Dyan Chohans etc. And the famous Panchakosas' or 5 sheaths:
Both Madame Blavatsky and Col. Olcutt took the Pancha Silas or the 5 Precepts of Buddhism:
AryaSangha of the 6 cent. BC, a direct Disciple of the Buddha founded the Yogacharya School. Yoga =Spiritual Union, acharya = Teacher. Arya = Worthy- holy, Sangha = Host, Assemblege.

Prakriti - manisfest's and gives birth to matter
Sakti - the "powers" or " force" of matter.
Maya - the rise of "Illusion" as matter
Dakshinacharya referrs to the "Right Hand path" in the Tantric teachings which are "Pure" ( and not of the "Left hand "Vamacharya" path ).
I guess when I read "PanchaTantra" in the beginning of your post I just couldn't see where the rest got stuck there by the later personage because there is no way Panchatantra means othe other titles lol!
Any way you got me to post some thing which I havent done in a while.
BTW< I strongluy recommend all the excellent works of the famous Theosophist Judith M. Tyberg (Jyotipriya) M.A. M. Th., ph.D. from Theosophical University, M.A. in Indian Religion and Philosophy from Benares Hindu University, Point Loma and the East-West Center.

My views are:
We all know that allegories, parables, mythological tales and fables often has been used by the Wisdom Teachers through the ages. H. P. Blavatsky many others used them often. The value of this lies most certainly in their ability to awaken the Seekers after Truth and Wisdom to the theosophical doctrines and to the theosophical experience. Mere dry intellectual exchanges not seldom show a certain lack in this ability these days.
On another forum the following very interesting book was mentioned.
The Panchatantra (or The Fables of Bidpai or The Lights of Canopus) shares many stories in common with the Buddhist Jataka tales.
There are stores paralleled in Aesop's Fables. It is also the origin of several stories in Arabian Nights, Sindbad, and many Western nursery rhymes and ballads. And they have in fact been very herlpful to teach to children.

Ibn al-Muqaffa translated the Panchatantra from Middle Persian as Kalila wa Dimna.
