In this Internet age, TSA Board should have anticipated members wanting to
know the reasons behind their decision to withdraw the charter of Orlando
lodge. This is not a simple routine matter since we are dealing with a lodge
which has been operating for 75 years and have their own real estate, and
withdrawal is an extremely rare occurrence world-wide.

If strong reasons are there, which I hope there are, it should be very easy
to lay them out in very simple language such as being used in At the Feet of
the Master so that even less educated members can understand very easily.
Truth will always triumph and no one need be afraid of Truth.

Once members are convinced of the reasonableness of the grounds for the
withdrawal of the charter, it will only enhance the standing of the TSA
Board. On the other hand, if no convincing information is forthcoming, this
is going to hurt the standing of TSA and its Board in the minds of
membership who will be wondering what is going on.

Also this action is going to be a stumbling block in moving theosophy
forward at a time when we badly need to grow the membership since actions
speak louder than nicely written words. With Internet everyone is informed
of what is going on.

Another interesting fact is that all the vociferous âtheosophicalâ writers
in Internet forums who hide behind pseudonyms and are so much concerned
about âwho is mowing the lawn at Adyarâ are inexplicably silent.

Withdrawal of charter of a 75 year old lodge is a very serious matter than
âwho is mowing the lawn at Adyarâ. I expected them to jump at this serious
issue with the same passion and vigor with which they were writing about
âwho is mowing the lawn at Adyar.â I leave it to the reader to draw their
own conclusion about why these vociferous writers are silent.

I am sure TSA is monitoring this forum and it is my hope that TSA Board
quickly explain the reasons for their decision and convince members of the
reasonableness of their decision so that theosophy can move forward in the
