And you might also add that more and more Brahmins are taking to meat-eating, smoking, drinking of alcohol these days...

But the point I am trying to make is not at all that, MKR.

The point I am making is why did the President of the Theosophical Society make a statement in the Watch Tower that superiorizes Brahmins? Can the Theosophical Society afford to become casteist?

      Let me add, for the benefit of those outside India especially the West.

Traditionally Brahmins not only do not eat meat, but do not eat eggs and are

teetotalers. Also, meat, eggs, and alcohol are not allowed in their homes.

I have known Brahmin families who emigrated and settled in the USA who

follow this practice even today.
