Re: Joseph and the Astrolodgical key to the SD

I have to admit that I am not a fan of Alice Bailey, in any way shape
or form. However, I took the time to read your references and found
nothing there, in the oft chance that she might actually have come up
with something useful. Even Bailey is right, once in a while.

When I wrote the question up, I had a pretty good idea of what was
being asked. What you came up with as an answer in no way addressed
the question. You cannot give what you don't have.

I'm sure you mean well, but give up on trying to equate Bailey with
Theosophy. Bailey is full of dogmatic, unsupported assertions and
the terms used are little more than free-association with some
Sanskrit and psuedo Hermetic mysticism thrown in.

Theosophy uses the method of compare and contrast, which is why the
TS, historically has had objectives which encourage members to do
their own investigating. When HPB wrote Isis Unveiled and the Secret
Doctrine, as well as the Key to Theosophy, and other books, she knew
well enough that her readers would want to see the same sources that
she did. Many of those are easily available today for the inquiring
reader to prove for themselves, as have I.

I do not oppose Bailey because she is not HPB, or because she left
the TS, but because her methods and those which are encouraged by her
followers are entirely and DIRECTLY antithetical to Theosophy.
Cosmic Christs and Jesuses as future avatars are dogmatic assertions,
born of a mind drunk on the desire to put JC/God into an idea where
they were never present to begin with.
