To compare the limitations of the new blog with those of these mail-
lists one has to check if posts and comments of blog's subscribers
are moderated. Namely, also theos_talk and theos_l have a limitation
in this sense that posting is limited to members only.
This limitation is quite indispensable as otherwise we would have
countless number of posts advertising certain pills and certain organ
enlargement methods and so on.
For instance, I had a phpBB forum on my site and had to remove it
because there were about 10 false registrations per day as certain
people wanted to collect e-mail addresses for their advertising
purposes and to directly advertise their offer. Now I have a Yahoo!
group and a special contact form for those who want to join to
prevent direct false registrations. There are anyway about 20 spam
messages through that form per day but do not affect the mail list.
