Hi Cass,
Yes I think the key is to use discernment while keeping an open mind.
The weathers not to bad in Perth today just a bit muggy and overcast

and Steiners teachings were firmly ground in Blavatsky's teachings.
They did not take, on faith, the existence of the masters, as they
too took HPB's word for it, especially considering they did not
experience the masters for themselves.

list on what has turned out to be accurate be it from HPB, Besant or
Leadbeater. This may not verify the Masters, but it verifies the
truth within their teachings. Has Besant/Leadbeater teaching proved
without a doubt the inaccuracy of HPB's teaching? Has HPB proved
without a doubt the inaccuracy of Besant/Leadbeater's teaching?

whether or not I believe that there are spirits and that those
spirits communicate with say, a John Edwards. Because I have
personally not experienced spirit communication do I throw out all
the verified cases that have occured? One thing I have noticed is
that in most cases these spirits have unfinished business on earth,
and most have died under tragic circumstances.
