the 7th house is the house of 'other' ; 1-6 are houses dealing with the individual him/herself. 7 is ruled by Libra or balance, where one has to balance the needs of another as well as one's own needs. try an astrological website, there are many. I'm sure they will do a good job explaining the houses.
