   Some where in all the writings about Madame Blavatsky is was said or conjectured that she had a congenital abnormality of her private parts, the particulars of the abnormality were never detailed. I seem to recall it was her personal Doctor that at one time made this claim. It was alledged that this prevented her from normal connubial relationship in marriage or otherwise. It was a sparse citation, and only one of the possible raised reasons people made about her. But it seems that a Personal Physicians origination on this matter may have a basis as he was caring for her for considerable time. Maybe you or someone can perform Global Search for statements by her Personal Physician.
