Nasa declared that all original photos abou the moon landing were lost. Very 
sad.
No investigation can made.

Seems we have to deal only with the lo-res and third generation photos which 
they spread - without details.

But Nasa seems not the only institution involved which looses photos.

According to German researcher Gerhard Wisnewski, whom I know personally and 
trust a good deal, the Lunar and Planetary Institute has lost its Apollo 
photo no. AS12-46-6806, whcih shows more as the Nasa's version of the same 
ID-photo:
