So true, many years ago I worked for an importer of biscuits from Taiwan.  The manufacturer would ask, 'what use by date" do you want on the product?  My boss didn't care he was getting $10 biscuits for $2.  Looking back they were probably full of trans fats.

Our industry use it in all products.
Only if one use to make his own soup without that flavourmaking 
things than he will not eat, but also he need to stop eating cookies
