It was very clear in K's case, there is ample evidence that he was predicted
to be a great speaker, greater than Annie Besant. Besant was a legendary
orator and this was confirmed by many who personally listened to her
lectures. Whether one is a chela or not, I do not know if we could determine
that from physical charateristics. by the way, in Tillett's thesis there is
a well documented chapter on Krishnamurti. Just thought I should add a few

Krishnamurti's was chosen this way, yet, as a thinking adult, he turned away

position that came out of Leadbeater's delusional mind. My understanding is
that Krishnamurti was at Adyar because Annie Besant gave his father a job,
so in that particular case, no offering by parents took place. Also, I find
it unimaginable that a child would have the mental capacity to undertake
what is required of a chela. Whatever became of these Chela's?
