Misguided, Misdirected Mysticism: A Sobering Assessment
Mar 02, 2007 10:40 AM
Master Morya gives A.P. Sinnett the following assessment
of an Indian guru and mystic of the Radhasoami tradition:
"[Rai Salig Ram is]... ? a truly good man ? ....a pure, unselfish,
earnest soul, absorbed in misguided, misdirected mysticism."
If one accepts Master Morya's assessment as valid, then notice that
Salig Ram's purity, unselfishness and earnestness did NOT guarantee
the truthfulness and correctness of Salig Ram's "visions". Nor did
these positive qualities keep Salig Ram from being involved in what
Master Morya labels: MISGUIDED MISDIRECTED mysticism.

Certainly this is a sobering assessment which has thought provoking
