DALAI LAMA ANGRY?

Friends,

A couple of days ago, Richard Quest, of CNN International, decided to ask the XIV Dalai Lama a “difficult” question in one of his “Quest” shows.

Meaning that “perhaps such a saintly man would never get outwardly aggressive”, Quest said to the old Dalai Lama:

“Do you ever get angry?”

The Lama looked directly at Quest as he answered:

“Of course I get angry – if you ask me a lot of stupid questions I will get angry!!”

And he immediately released one of his good-natured, vigorous laughters.

Indeed, the man can go beyond the ‘spiritual façade’ and ‘saintly mask’ – to which both naive people and clever hypocrites use to get attached.

Regards, Carlos.
