At first, Joscelyn Godwin is a he. At least he sounded like a 'he' when
we had a telephone conversation a couple of years ago:) yesterday
evening I was typing a long e-mail clarifying my statement - alas, my pc
choose that precise moment to freeze and I lost it. maybe later I will
find the time to rewrite what I was trying to send.
As to the (in)famous Harrer Tibet expedition, read the two recently
published books 'Himmler's Crusade' and 'The Master Plan: Himmler's
Scholars and the Holocaust'.
I have a couple of classical philosophical translations/forewords made by Joscelyn Godwin, I am also aware that she worked with the HPB Letters -- but I must confess I ignore most of the books you mention below.
