Cass and the Conflict

Apr 24, 2006 06:22 AM
by carlosaveline

Cass,

Buddha's words, quoted by you below, are true, no dout, and also inspiring. Thanks.

Yet Truth and truthfulness, as sincerity, are often conflictive in appearance.

For instance, thousands, and thousands, of Buddhists were killed in India by Hindus in the first centuries after Buddha's life.

Buddha's teaching had, in a way, "brought conflict" to India!

This, in one's life, is called probation. Truth burns.

It is satwic, but it appears to be rajasic, as it disturbs tamas.

Best regards, Carlos.
