ES, Esoteric Instructions and Maya

The way I see, more than "Esoteric Instructions", there are "esoteric levels
So even an "Esoteric School" with an important amount of Maya can serve as a
focus and a stimulus for people to better themselves and to evolve into a
higher level of contact with their own "Monads" or true selves. At least a
few earnet people can benefit from it if they keep their minds open.
The temptation for us is to conclude that, because an esoteric school
follows some Mayavic ideations, every aspirant in it will be losing his or
her time necessarily. I do not think so.
In the "Mahatma Letters" it is said that the Masters and their Observatories
(which include trained Disciples) observe most earnest theosophists -- (
and all good-will persons, poets, philosophers, men of science...) -- for
their small buddhic lights. The priority is the inner Buddhic activity and
not so much the level of outer accuracy at the mental and lower mental
levels. After all,we are all dreaming a little bit, even when we THINK we
are awake. Their priority is in the connection between heart and mind.
If there is real liberty of thought, and contrasts can be freely examined
without mutual and durable hatred, and hopefully with respect, Buddhic
activity is stimulated. Eventually, the level of mayavic ideations tend to

To answer that, one really needs to set a context. So, in terms of
setting that context, exactly what is the ES? How does one define
