Zecharia Sitchin has done good scholarly work in many respects, and
his work has many shortcomings as well. I don't hang my hat on
Sitchin's work with good certainty on several issues. Sitchin is a
semitic scholar and all his work is projected from a semitic
viewpoint. Further, he tends to be heavily materialistic; although,
he may be forced in that position by what academia will tolerate.
