Blavatsky and the Mahatma letters repeatedly claim that white ÔAryanÕ 
persons belong to the Fifth Root Race - while black ÔLemurian persons 
(that is, primal indigenes) belong to an earlier and less-developed 
evolutionary stream, the Third Root Race. And that these ÔsurvivalsÕ ofthe=
 
Lemurian age have only themselves to blame for their current 
predicament: not only are they the sacrilegious result of human-
mammalian miscegenation, but their present status reflects the burden 
of karma which they have accrued through numerous past lives, and
