Well - in rereading what I wrote yesterday I saw that I made a serious error. 
I did not mean to say the there are no SPECIFIC teachings about capital 
punishment - what I meant to say was there ARE specific teachings. Judge's 
article is clearly specific. 

Whether we have the right to kill anyone is another question. If all and any 
progress can only take place on this plane we take away an individual's right 
and opportunity to learn. It is a major sin against the individual and all 
of nature.
