You are suggesting that this is not illusion then, but they are actually
resident here on earth with the human kingdom. Did you really mean fifth
chain? Is there evidence somewhere that this earth chain is a fifth in number?

I hit the books after I read this, because I wanted references. I think
maybe you are referring to classes of Monads, which are written about in
THE OCEAN OF THEOSOPHY by Judge. He writes (p.28): "The first portion began
on Globe A and went through the whole seven greater states of consciousness
which have been called globes. When the first portion left A others
streamed in and pursued the same course, the whole army proceeding with
regularity round the septenary route."
The key point here is that these classes of new Monads only continued until
the middle of the fourth Round when there was a distinct change in the
operation, due to the door closing. Continuing on with Judge: "This journey
went on for four circlings round the whole, and then the whole stream or
army of Egos from the old Moon Chain had arrived, and being complete, no
more entered after the middle of the Fourth Round."
The other point is that the streams of Monads (in my estimation) only
entered upon a race on a globe during the seven race period of the kingdom
on the globe. This is when other classes would have streamed in. However
when the lifewave had finished its seven races and moved on, then the
classes would again begin their streaming forth on the new globe, not ahead
of the kingdom and continuing without it. This is a point for debate, I
Anyway, we are past the turning point, the middle of the fourth Round, and
so conditions would be different than they were in the early rounds.

This is the point I am arguing, but not incessantly. I am only trying to
prove the idea of illusion in a new way. If it doesn't appeal to you, don't
bother with it.

I am hoping you will find some quotes to support what you are saying.

Judge again in the ECHOES OF THE ORIENT, Vol I., prints an article called
Reincarnation of Animals by Wm. Brehon, where the SD II, p. 196 is quoted:
"In calling the animal "souless" it is not depriving the beast, from the
humblest to the highest species, of a "soul," but only of a conscious
surviving Ego-soul, i.e., that principle which survives after a man, and
reincarnates in a like man." (etc.)
Brehon also says, (p.406) "While it is stated that no more animal monads
can enter on the man-stage, it is not said nor inferred that the incoming
supply of monads for the animal kingdom has stopped." So you see there are
others who have thought like you do. Brehon ends with this thought, "The
animals, however, being devoid of developed Manas, have no Devachan and
must be forced onwards to the next planet in the chain. This would be
consistent and useful, as it gives them a chance for development in
readiness for the time when the monads of that kingdom whall begin to rise
to a new human kingdom.
It may make you really sick to think that true animal souls (not just
bodies) are completely separated from man. I am suggesting it because
angels would be a possibility in thinking through the lifewave idea. Maybe
you could find quotes supporting your thoughts and I could look into them.
>From what you have said and what I have read, I still don't see that your
conclusion is the only one. It's silly to try to prove illusion, I suppose.
You, on the otherhand, are trying to prove there is only one possibility
for life forms to live together here on earth, and that is that the animals
here are the souls whose next step is the human stage. In a very real
sense, there is truth in this, because even if we are seeing mirages, they
represent something so spiritual - the form of a being. I see something
different in the freedom that the dinosaurs enjoyed here on earth and the
types of animals we are surrounded with. With this animal's freedom comes
many things. Being in a world dominated by man, there are not nearly as
many possibilities for the animals to assert themselves in thinking ways or
to find their own way on their path.
What do you think?
