The Malibu Study Group of the United Lodge of Theosophists [ULT] subscribes to the ULT Declaration. It is independent in its devotion to the theosophical cause, free of attachment to any theosophical organization. The emphasis is on unselfishness, on self-forgetfulness, and on living for others. Self-improvement is encouraged with the motivation of helping others.
ULT Groups consider the dissemination of the fundamental principles of the theosophical philosophy to be of paramount importance. This is not an mere intellectual endeavor. The wisdom religion is only realized in its practical application in the student's life, in self-realization, and in a genuine sense of kinship with others.
The ULT is not a formal organization. There is no constitution, bylaws, officers, nor membership. Anyone may become an associate based upon a shared interest in furthering the work.
You are invited to share in our recent studies of the philosophy.
